Model, Actor, Poet, writer, Police Officer. A state wrestling champion in the '80's, he began his modeling and acting career as a cover model for various national fashion and health & fitness magazines, eventually becoming one of two models in 1991 to make the final cut for the Calvin Klein Boxer Briefs Underwear national ad campaign. When the ad agency decided to go with brown eyes and hair, Mark "Marky Mark" Wahlberg got the job, and subsequent career advancement over King. In 1992 he was signed by Slammers Wrestling Federation to star as "Terrific Tom King," host/head instructor of "The Great American Collegiate Wrestling Instructional Video," and appeared in a number of films and videos in following years. Away from his show business career he served as a Peace Officer for Orange County from 1991 -1994, and similarly for the city of Long Beach, California, from 1994 - 2001. He was honored by his peers for police service to his community. At the time of his death at age 36, he was working on an autobiographical suspense novel, with plans to develop it as a screenplay, and was compiling a collection of his poetry for publication. Survived by Father and Mother, two brothers, a sister, and many others who love him very much.
