Mr. Arestia worked for over 20 years at Marsh & McLennan Companies. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing tennis and watching his sons play lacrosse.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Arestia is survived by his sons Matthew Arestia of Stamford, James and his wife Vivian Arestia of Philadelphia, PA, Daniel Arestia and Charles Arestia, both of New Canaan, and his sister Janet Filipovsky and her family of Brooksville, FL.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Aloysius Church. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
Friends may visit on Sunday January 25, 2009 from 2:00-6:00 pm at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan, CT 06840.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to ARI of Connecticut Inc., 174 Richmond Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902.
