Mary Ann Starr Keeley was my great-great grandmother. She was the daughter of Michael and Catherine Starr (pioneers of Richland Township, Venango County).

She lived with her husband, Hamilton B. Keeley, most of her life at the Keeley Farm in Keeley's Corners, Sugarcreek Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania. To that union were borne seven children including two boys and five girls. At the time of her death, she was survived by four daughters: Mrs. Rachel Keith of Bethel, Mrs. Jennie K. Jones of Franklin, Mrs. Frank Mason of Nebraska, and Mrs. R. J. Hughes of Rocky Grove.

She was a member in good standing at the United Evangelical Church, giving liberally to charity, church, and all other good works.

Burial in Franklin Cemetery.
