Antonina "Lena" Alfano, a resident of White Plains for over 70 years, died on March 13, 2007. She was 85. Born in Camden, NJ on November 7, 1921 to the late Liboria and Salvatore Tomasino. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Alfano who was a survivor on the Andrea Doria. Mrs. Alfano worked for the Westchester County Department of Social Services and was a member of Mt. Carmel Church. Mrs. Alfano is survived by her loving children; Concetta White, Cosimo (Nicky) Alfano, Salvatore (Allyson) Alfano and Liboria "Bunny" (Tim) Wilson, 10 grandchildren; Antonina, Charles, Michael, Howard, Antonina, Timothy, Charles, Charles, Allyson and Salvatore and four great grandchildren; Stephen, Brianna, Selena and Christina. Also surviving is a brother Francis Salvo and a loving daughter-in-law Ann Alfano Hardman. Visitation will be Thursday 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM. Funeral Mass Friday 10 AM at Mt. Carmel Church White Plains. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
