Graveside serrvices are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 25, at Woodbine Cemetery for Mary Ann (Murney) Batie of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Batie, 49, died Friday, September 19, 2014 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Deacon Pablo Merjil will officiate at the services.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mary was born December 31, 1964 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Junior Batie and Frances (Goode) Batie. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

She was a Registered Nurse and obtained her degree Eastern New Mexico University in Roswell, New Mexico. She also attended West Texas Nursing College in Canyon, Texas after graduating from Artesia High School in 1982. Mary was a fun loving woman and friend to all who knew her. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, sister Frances Marie Romero, and her grandparents, uncles, and aunts.
