Claire was married to the love of her life on December 25, 1943, they were happily married for 65 years. Claire was preceded by husband James Barrett, and son Timothy Barrett. Claire is survived by daughters Terri Bolda, Tamara Peters, and son Thomas Barrett, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Claire's life was one of giving and compassion, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 25 years, and was an advocate for children, animals and the environment. Memorial: March 15, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church in El Cajon at 11:00 a.m., she was a member of the church for 65 years. Claire's sweet smile and gentle kindness will be greatly missed.
