Tomas Alwerud, 78, of Coronado died Tuesday. He was born in Arvika, Sweden. Mr. Alwerud was retired after working 30 years as an entrepreneur.
Survivors include his wife, Ingrid Alwerud; daughters, Britta Eriksson of Los Angeles and Eva Yancey of Los Angeles; son, Sven Alwerud of Temecula; stepdaughter, Anne Marie McDade of Joshua Tree; stepson, Erik Odeen of Valley Center; brother, Nils Alwerud of Sweden; and six grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. tomorrow, Humphrey Mortuary, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista. Interment will be in Sweden.
Donations: San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave., San Diego, CA 92103; or the National Stroke Association, 9797 E. Easter Lane, Inglewood, CO 80118.
