Mable Lee Adams, 71, of Joshua died Sunday, November 17, 2002, at a Fort Worth hospice house. She was a retired inventory control specialist for Alcon Laboratories. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 20 at Mountain Valley Chapel. Burial was at Caddo Cemetery.

Mable Lee Adams, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, was called home to Heaven on Sunday, November 17, 2002. She was born October 23, 1931, in Rotan, Texas, the daughter of Homer and Winnie Munday Bostic.

She was a 1950 graduate of Davy Crockett High School in Palestine, Texas. She was with Alcon Laboratories for 18 years prior to her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and making her special candies during the Christmas season. Mable was a very caring and giving person, and her sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mable is survived by her husband, Robert C. Adams of Joshua; son, Jimmy R. Adams of Joshua; daughters, Patricia Markham and husband, Brian, of Joshua, Terri Duke and husband, Fred, of Cleburne; brother, Buford Bostic of Denison; sisters, Inez Boren of Channelview, Ruth Wilmoth of Midland; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mountain Valley Funeral Home of Burleson handled the arrangements.
