Funeral services for J.B. Adams, 74, of 609 N.Jackson, who died Monday, were to be held today (thursday) at 2 p.m. in Hassell & Foster Chapel. Burial was to be in New Addition Annex. Mr. Adams was born July 28, 1900 in Weimar (Colorado County). A son of the late Barry Benjamin Adams, he was a retired paint contractor. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gladys A. Miller Adams of Palestine; two sons, Robert of Lubbock and Jerry of Otey: six daughters, Georgia Ina Gosnell of Cisco, Georgia Mae McFaddin of Dallas, Louise Burt of Knox City, Betty Ann Runnells of Oklahoma, Nancy Fletcher of Hernleigh, and Diane Davis of Big Springs; one stepdaughter, Mrs Mae Dell Avants of Palestine.
