We rescued Buddy from the neighbors. He was abused & neglected. We moved here and a few weeks later, I discovered him tied way out in their back yard with no water or food and close to death. To make this short, I talked to them, they didn't care, but wouldn't give me the dog. [And the pound wouldn't help]I fed and watered him for over three years while still tied in their backyard. Finally in Sept 2010 they let me have him. But it was almost to late. He was a sick baby. He had a brain tumor, a tumor on his heart, asthmatic lungs and cancer of the tongue. The vet said that even with all of his problems, he wasn't in pain and to give him a chance. So we fed, watered, loved and 'spoiled' him rotten till the cancer started getting to bad. Then we had to let him go to puppy heaven. But we made him happy for the short nine months that we had him & he made us happy. He was the best dog ever. He never did anything wrong. Such a sweet guy!!! He really loved his Teddy bear. And enjoyed chasing after his balls. Would never bring them back, but loved chasing them. He wrapped his paws right around my heart & I miss him more then words can say.
