She was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Ness County, the daughter of Harry and Stella Owens Brenn. She graduated from St. John High School. A longtime resident of Stafford, she was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm.
She attended the United Methodist Church, Stafford.
On Sept. 21, 1937, she married Kenneth Allen in Hutchinson. He died July 30, 2007.
Survivors include: a son, Gerald and his wife, JoAnne, Overbrook; a daughter, Patricia Houston and her husband, John, Pratt County; a sister, Dorothy Tuckwood, Stafford; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a stillborn son; two brothers, Morris and Charles Brenn; and two sisters, Marjorie Polzin and Hazel Fields.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Stafford Cemetery, with Darrel Murphy presiding.
