Paul was a consumate' Broadcaster, who for years was a popular personality on many New Zealand radio stations. Paul was famous for his "BUM SKATE" on a hang glider at a Wellington park while working for Radio Windy in Wellington, among other Zany radio related stunts. He was a great fan of American Country Music, and found himself on New Zealands first permanant Country Music Station "Country Gold" in Hamilton. Among his talents, he was the breakfast host on Raukawa FM, one of New Zealands new Iwi maori radio stations, which have become very popular around the country in the last few years. Paul went into Auckland hospital on the 17th of June and died peacefully in his sleep at 8:11am on June 19th, from in-operable liver cancer. He will be sadly missed.
