Wendell David Adams, 40, of Cadott passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at his home.
Wendell, son of Kenneth and Karen (Bilderback) Adams, was born March 30, 1969, in Chippewa Falls. He attended Notre Dame Elementary School and Chippewa Falls Middle and Senior High schools, graduating in 1987. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Wendell grew up in Chippewa Falls. He loved hunting, working and playing in the outdoors, and golf outings. He most cherished spending time with his family. He was dedicated to his profession as an accountant, and he was forever reading and learning about this world he treasured so much. Wendell loved to figure things out and create. He always had a plan and was tinkering with something. He is well-known for his sense of humor, playfulness and zest for life. Wendell said it best when he said, "Our family is our everything. We are each other's rock."
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Alvina Adams and Earl and Clara Bilderback.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, U.S. 12 E., Altoona. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral chapel. A private interment for the family will be at a later date.
