NEKOOSA — Dorothy Abel, 75, of 1557 County Trunk Z, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1989, at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Church of Christ, Nekoosa. The Rev. David Proctor will officiate. Burial will be in the village of Port Edwards Cemetery. Mrs. Abel was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Ladysmith to John and Emilia Turner. She married Elmer Abel July 31, 1935, in Wisconsin Rapids. He died June 8, 1982. Survivors include two sons, John Abel of Nekoosa, and Larry Abel, Pewaukee; a sister, Harriet Ctunmings, Shawano; three grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. She also was predeceased by her parents and two brothers. Friends may call at the FeldnerRitchay Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. Friday and at the church Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
