Her obituary says she was born in Syracuse in 1838, but she was actually born about 1831 in Ireland. She came here from County Mayo with her parents, James Murray and Mary Philbin about 1842. She married Henry Eddy in 1846 and they lived over 40 years on Jackson Street in the 7th Ward. Bridget died of pneumonia at home.
