Mr Benedict was a retired optician & served in the Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Judy Benedict; dau, Julie B Beagle (Tim); sons, Joseph Benedict (Joanie) & Patrick Benedict. He is also survived by 6 grands. Visitation will be from 4-6pm Sun, Aug 21, 2011 at Canale Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be 10am Mon, Aug 22, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Ch w burial to follow at Memorial Prk Cem. The family requests mem'ls be given to St Jude Children's Research Hosp.
