Caleb Andrew Marcin, 29 years old, passed to his rest on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012 at the scene of a single vehicle accident on Conrad Road south of US-12, in Edwardsburg. He was born Jan. 30, 1983 in Elkhart, IN, the son of Ronald R. and Autumn D. (Wilson) Marcin. Caleb graduated from Edwardsburg High School and participated in the Wrestling Program, and the team went to the State Finals. He also was a member of the Cass County 4-H for over ten years, and went to the State Finals with the Equestrian Team. Caleb was a member of Local Union 5, U.A.W and worked for A.M. General of Mishawaka. He enjoyed golfing and firearms, and the handling of firearms. He liked to play darts in his spare time. But most of all his love was for his four month old daughter Catherine, whom he idolized. He also served in the U.S. Marines. Surviving are his parents, Ron and Autumn Marcin of Edwardsburg; his maternal grandmother, Luella Wilson of Edwardsburg; his precious daughter, Catherine Anne Marcin and Catherine's mother, Carey Mosier; and his siblings, Deborah J. (Rob) Arch of Edwardsburg, Summer Joy (Kyle) Bannon of Cassopolis, T. Aaron Marcin and companion Mark Cross both of Raleigh, NC., Micah Adam Marcin of Elkhart, and Jacob Matthew (Shauntel) Marcin of Edwardsburg. There are several nieces and nephews, including these special ones, Alyvia, Jayce, Daniel, Keith, Kaylee, Dustin, and others, and also many special friends who cared for Caleb. Friends and family may gather at the Granger Missionary Church, 50841 Birch Road, Granger, on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 from 2-4 PM. The Memorial Service of Remembrance will be at 4:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 with Rev. Earl Smith, pastor, officiating. The United States Marines Honor Guard will play TAPS and fold the flag at the conclusion of the service. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be directed to Ron and Autumn Marcin for the benefit of Caleb's daughter, Catherine. The address is 25685 Red Pine Lane, Edwardsburg, MI 49112. Arrangements are by the Paul E.
