DORIS B. ABNEY, 85, a retired bookkeeper, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2003 in Burleson.
Funeral: 10 a.m., Monday in the Arlington Funeral Home Chapel, Arlington. Burial: Moore Memorial Park, Arlington. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday at Arlington Funeral Home, Arlington. Memorials: American Heart Association or IntegraCare Hospice.
Doris was a founding member of Arlington Women's Bowling Association and a member of the Women's International Bowling Congress for 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Abney and daughter, Judy Barton.
Survivors: Sons, Mike Abney and wife, Kathy, Ricki Abney and wife, Debbie; daughters, Linda Horan and husband, Pat, Karen Roberts, Diane Lunow and husband, Jerry, Jonna Davenport and husband, Roy; son-in-law, Lee Barton; sister, Donna Porter and husband, Paul; 44 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
