Mrs Verbie Addie Atwell,63, died early Friday morning at her home near Glenwood.She is survived by husband; Charlie Atwell; a daughter Mrs J.C.Tyner of Enterprise;a son J.W.Nichols of Glenwood also several grandchildren. Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at 2 p m from the Bethel church with Rev Hargrove officiating. Burial was in the new Providence cemetery with Turner Brothers in charge.(The Luverne Journal -Dec. 12,1942)
