AUBURNDALE, Oct. 6. - (Special) Mrs. Pearl Kolla Allen, 73 wife of former Mayor R. C. Allen, died today at her home after a long illness. A native of Chicago, Mrs. Allen moved here in 1917. She was prominent in various civic affairs and in the work of the First Presbyterian Church. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edward Reefer, Auburndale; four sons, Col. Chester R. Allen, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; J. Everett Allen, Lakeland, John J. Allen, Winter Haven, and Robert C. Allen, Auburndale and seven grandchildren.
