MY GRANDFATHER

He was the husband of Mary (Tierney) Miller ~~ The father of Francis, Anthony, James and Joseph ~~ The grandfather of Colleen,Sandra, Fran Jr. ~ Anthony, Robert, Kathy ~ Cindy, James, Cheryl, Jeffrey, Alicia ~ Patti, Debbie, Brenda, Thomas, Marie, and Judy ~~

Anthony came to America with his parents, brother, and sister in 1915 at the age of 19 ~ They made their home in Pennsylvania ~ He eventually left and moved to Connecticut ~
He worked at the Underwood Typewriter Co. in Hartford as a Fire Fighter where he met my Grandmother ~
Anthony was also an artist and he spoke 7 languages fluently ~

Anthony has always been a mystery to us ~ We know very very little about him, we have no idea who his parents or siblings are ~ We do know that his last name was changed when he came here to America, what exactly it was....we don't know ~
