Gerald Rowland or "Gerry" as he was more commonly known, is a World War 2 veteran of the U.S. Navy. He has a daughter and granddaughter from his first marriage; Michelle (Shelly) Chapman and daughter Charlene. Gerry divorced his first wife and married Marge (Selmons) Lort. Gerry and Marge initially lived in Olcott, NY; later to settle in Newfane, NY. Gerry and Marge shared each other's passions for their family and spent most of the their time together camping and enjoying their grandchildren. Gerry was a long time employee of Niagara Mohawk and memeber of the Wilson Conservation Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and dabbled in his son-in-law's farm from time to time. Gerry's passing was sudden and unexpected. He passed while on a hunting trip at his son-in-law's cabin in Whitesville, NY.
