Rodney "Donnie", 47, of Florence, passed away on July 8th at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. Donnie was a martial arts expert and instructor, an avid fisherman, played the keyboard, bass and guitar, was a skilled artist, and devoted to his cats. He is survived by his Father, Ronnie and Barbara Britt of Florence, his mother, Joyce Gaines of Jackson, TN, his fiance, Tawanna Stull of Erlanger, his sisters, Diane Hobbs (Clark) of Burlington, Debra Cox (Kenny) of Bagdad, KY, Rose Marie Colmenares (Jose) of Jackson, TN, brothers, Paul Britt (Tanya) of Florence, Michael Clore of Cincinnati, sisters, Leah Clore of Walton, KY, Lara Ayres (David) of Walton, KY, and Lisa Ramler of Florence. He is also survived by his grandmother, Needia Congeriado of Jackson, TN, and five nieces and nine nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12th, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Linnemann in Burlington. A service will follow the visitation at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Richwood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, Fifth Floor, Norwalk, CT, 06851.
