David G. Alexander, 79 of Moss Point, MS passed away Tuesday Jan. 27, 2015. Before retiring he worked for International Paper as an Operator. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. David loved worshipping with his church family at Midway Methodist Church, watching football and going to his sister’s house for lunch.
He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Alexander, a son David “Beau” Alexander and his parents Liston & Verma Mae Alexander.
Survivors are his daughters, Lisa (Raymond) Hollis & Penny Alexander, step sons; Ray Cothran & Glen Cothran, a step daughter Donna Thompson, a sister Lydean Goff, 10 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be Thursday Jan. 28, 2015 from 10:00-11:00am at Heritage Funeral Home. Services will begin at 11:00am in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Tom East officiating. . Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm at New Zion Methodist Church in Stone County, MS.
