Angelina Governale Adamo, 87 of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Ocean Springs Hospital.
Angelina was born December 5, 1922 in Hammond, LA., to John and Rose Governale.
Angelina was a Christian woman and loved to talk about The Lord with anyone who would listen. She lived for and her greatest joys were derived from her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She liked to help people and she was a giver to anyone who was in need. She loved the outdoors, working in the garden and tending her livestock. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Paul Catalanatto and Tony Adamo; parents, John and Rose Governale; sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Lewis, Frances Lewis, Josie Schiro, Margaret Fresina and brother, Angelo Governale.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula Black of Jackson, MS., Rosemary (Steve) Landrum and Janet (Mike) Williamson of Ocean Springs; sons Vince (Vivian) Catalanatto and John (Melda) Catalanatto of Ocean Springs; sisters, Mary Ann Adamo of Ocean Springs, Rosalie Delaughter of Tickfaw, LA., brothers, John Governale, Jr. of Tickfaw, LA., and Pat Governale of Ocean Springs; grandchildren, Juanita Harmon, Penny Helle, Tanya DelaCurz, Jeremy Catalanatto, Angie Webster, Stephanie Hebert, Brandi Senseney, Cindy Feranda, Larry Hightower, Stevie Landrum, Kimberly Ribron, Michelle Williamson; twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Friday, October 22, 2010 at 12 Noon where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Southern Memorial Park
