R. F. ABERNATHY, 73, DIED THIS MORNING HOME WEST PT. ROAD

Robert Fields Abernathy, 73, died at 8:20 this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. F. Guy, West Point Road.

He was stricken with paralysis three months ago.

Deceased was born in Chambers COunty on August 31, 1871, and lived at Mr. and Mrs. Guy's home six years, moving from Chambers County.

In 1892 he married margaret Ellen Fetner in Chambers County. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Edwin G. Abernathy, Chambers County; Young T. Abernathy, Columbus, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. J. F. Guy, Mrs. Kate McIntyre, Columbus, Ga., and thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at four o'clock Wednesday afternoon from Macedonia Church, Chambers County and interment in the cemetery there.

Pallbearers will be: John Foster, J. W. Guy, walter Potts, Henderson Bishop, Wrth Scott, Harold Irvin.

Frederick-Williams-McGinty in charge of arrangements.
