He is my great uncle. He was a painter, authur, postman, carver and sculpter. Some of the road-side Catholic Shrines in Bavaria were carved by him. He also had the honor to make carvings on a church alter and below the church where the priests were buried. At the time he was the only outsider that had ever been asked to use his art in the crypt.
