Kenneth M. Allison, 79, of Altoona and Tipton died Sunday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.

He was born in Lewistown, son of the late Robert M. and Anna Mae (Swanson) Allison. He married Frances E. Rowles, who died on March 2, 1996.

He is survived by stepdaughters: Barbara Cuebas of Willimantic, Conn., Bonnie Boston in Arizona, Bertha Beere in Pennsylvania, Mary Burke, Jane Perry and Marty Beck; stepsons: George R., Allison Jr. and William H. Allison, both of Willimantic, Conn.; a brother, Carl Raymond Kephart; and many stepgrandchildren and many stepgreatgrandchildren; including his beloved stepgranddaughter, Aissia M. Allison, who was the absolute love of his life, as well as a stepgreat-grandson, Achillies J. Ortiz, both of Willimantic, Conn. He is also survived by a former daughter-in-law, Lisa M. Manville, of Mansfield Center, Conn.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Max Kephart.

A memorial service will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, 328 Fifth Ave., Altoona. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
