LOLA WHITTINGTON BRISTER, AGE 89 and a resident of Franklinton died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

She was the widow of James Howard Brister and a member of Thomas First Baptist Church.

Survived by: 4 Sons and daughters in law: Bill and Patricia Brister of Jackson, MS, Mike and Nancy Brister of Picayune, MS, Richard and Helen Brister of Metairie, LA, Rev. Fred and Denise Brister of Harvey, LA, 5 Daughters and sons in law: Mona and Douglas Lee of Tylertown, MS, Pat and John Forbes of Franklinton, LA, Beth Bonin of Hattiesburg, MS, Kay and Warren Blackwell of Metairie, LA, Scherean Brister of Shreveport, LA; 24 Grandchildren; 36 Great Grandchildren; 12 Great great grandchildren; 3 Step Grandchildren; 1 Step Great Grandchild; 2 Step Great great grandchildren

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home after 10 AM Friday, April 13, 2007 until time of funeral service, to be held at 1 PM Friday, April 13, 2007 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Denny Brumfield and Rev. Fred Brister officiating, with graveside service to be held at 3 PM Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ruth, MS, with Rev. Fred Brister and Rev. Douglas Lee officiating.
