Children, William Thomas and Archie Mae
Archie 32 years old was a switchman for the L&N RR. He fell from and under a moving train while at work. A wheel of the train passed over him. He crawled from under the car unassisted and was taken to his home. A physician was called, and he found no sign of injury. However, two days later, Archie died from internal injuries. His wife, Belle was 2 weeks pregnant at the time fo his death, and their second child, a daughter, was born 8 1/2 months later. She was named, Archie Mae in memory of her father.
