A native of Webster, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Herbert C. Branch, of this town, and one brother, William R. Branch, guidance director at Bartlett High School.
Mr. Branch was a social worker in the Massachusetts State Department of Veterans Services since 1946. A graduate of Bartlett, he attended Boston University and Middlebury College. He was with the American Field Service in North Africa and New Zealand in 1941 and 1942, and during World War II saw service in the Pacific and Japan.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but burial will be in the family lot in Mount Zion Cemetery here on Saturday, Jan. 23.
