My cat jackie gleason was the great one. One winter about 5 yrs ago this lovely cat was at my back door. I sensed a powerful presence. It was about 3am, i turned on the back porch light and I saw the giant male tom cat with big green eyes looking up at me, he had been abandoned in the middle of winter. Something made me call out JACKIE GLEASON and he answered me. I called again and he answered with the sweetest meow. Needless to say I adopted this joyful, wonderful cat. He would look at me with those huge green eyes and then start to purr and I would melt. My elderly neighbor Anna loved jackie as much as i did. He would run over to her house during the day and make himself comfortable. But he always came home to me. Jackie was such a gentle giant. Whenever my 21 yr old cat moe would slap him with his paw, Jackie would turn his back and never ever got agressive with my ole boy. Jackie's pleasures in life were food, belly rubs and the love of his momma. His purr could soothe away any of life's troubles. His big green eyes watching intently and sensing when i was having a hard day with my ms and giving me extra love to help me make it through the day. I truly had the "great one". Jackie had face cancer at the end and it came on fast and then he was gone. I miss him very much and will never forget this gentle giant. My beloved Paco is showing him around heaven and no doubt he is now settled and right at home in paradise...HALLOWEEN TOKENS WELCOME!!
