Peri Alcaide, 84, born Tayyibe Perizat, July 27, 1923, Istanbul, Turkey, passed away of natural causes March 15, 2008. She married John Berger, (aka) Chris Alcaide, June 22, 1956, screen actor, Palm Springs Walk of Stars recipient. Peri, as she was known by all her friends, was also very active in the film industry during the 50's, 60's, and 70's, and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild. She was a renowned, world traveled entrepreneur dealing in Fine Art and Hollywood Photo memorabilia. Peri became a naturalized United States citizen in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris in June, 2004. She is survived by a son, Eralp Uluturk; and two grand- daughters, Peri and Burcu Uluturk of Istanbul, Turkey. Graveside services are scheduled at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 21, 2008.
