Coos Bay's The World Newspaper, February 3, 1975:

"Funeral services for A. Paul Beebe, 63, of Coos Bay will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Mills-Bryan-Sherwood Bay Area Chapel with the Rev. Lius V. Bove officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Beebe was born July 2, 1911, at Fulton County, Ill., and died Sunday, Feb. 2, at Coos Bay. He was a member of the American Legion Post 34 of North bend and Coquille Chapter 38 of the Disabled Veterans, and was a Bay Area resident for most of his life.

He is survived by brothers, Roy Beebe of San Mateo, Calif., Ernest Beebe of Portland and Leslie Beebe of Palo Alto, Calif.; sisters, Rena Wright of North Bend and Elizabeth Powers of San Rafael, Calif."

Enlisted in the U. S. Army on September 9, 1942 at Portland, OR during World War II.
