He was the son of the late Theodore, Sr. and Willie Lee Abraham. He leaves to cherish his fond memories a loving and devoted wife, Melvina Jenkins Abraham of the home; three daughters, Mamie (Kenneth) Fryar of Ruffin, Williannette A. Cleckley of Atlanta, GA, and Patrice D. Abraham of the home; one son, Theodore R. (Regina) Abraham, III of Atlanta; one sister, Onetha (Deacon Calvin) Grimes of Orangeburg; one brother, the Rev. Elonzo (the Rev. Shirley) Abraham of Branchville; three aunts, Frankie Lee Jones and Lucille Martin of New York, and Bertie Martin of Branchville; four brothers-in-law, the Rev. W. D. (Orabell) Jenkins of Bamberg; Deacon Robert Lee (Carolyn) Jenkins of Harrisburg, PA, the Rev. Wilbert (Princess) Davis of Branchville and Robert (Marilynn) Heyward of Orangeburg; sisters-in-law, Mildred Martin of Branchville and Bessie Abraham of Orangeburg; the apple of his eye, one granddaughter, Faith D. Abraham of Atlanta; a special friend, the Rev. Roosevelt (Pearl) Gardner of Abbeville, AL.

He retired from Car Tech Technology. He served eight years as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Round O and he was the current pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Fort Motte, where he served faithfully for 29 years. He also served as a moderator for the St. Matthews Sunday School Convention. He was a Mason with the Whitehall Lodge in Branchville and a member of the NAACP Branchville Chapter.

Funeral services were held at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
The Rev. Amos Gourdine officiated. Burial was in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Fort Motte, SC.
