Jacob Barbuch, 62, of 832 Jefferson Avenue, died at St Nicholas Hospital Sunday about 8am after an illness of 10 months.

He was born in Jugoslavia on July 10, 1879 and came to this country in 1906. He lived in Cleveland, Ohio for two years and in 1908 came to Sheboygan where he made his home since. He was employed at the Armour Leather Company, the Kohler Company and for the past 12 years he had been working at the Armour Company where he was first employed.

On February 12, 1912 he married Miss Josephine Tratar. Survivors are his widow, three daughters and two sons, Mrs Anna Bukovic, Mrs Joseph (Mary) Markelz, Mrs Leo(Gabriella) Bersch, Joseph and Edward; four grandchildren and a cousin Joseph Barbuch, Chicago, also survive.

He was a member of Ss Cyril and Methodous Church, the KSKJ Society, Holy Name Society and the American Slovenian Organization. The body was prepared for burial at the Gerend Funeral Home and now lies in state at the Barbuch home. Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.
