Frank was born in St. Margarethe, Austria (now Slovenia). He was the son of Joseph and Mary Kochevar Golob. He immigrated to America at age 21 in 1913. He married Josephine Versey of Sheboygan WI in 1915. Together, they had five children, three sons and two daughters. He passed away on July 21, 1940 at the age of 47. He is buried in Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
