Hilen F. Aber, a former resident of Sempronius, died early Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital in Auburn where he had been a patient for about a week.
He was born May 14, 1909 in Bradford, N. Y., son of Ralph and Edith Overshire Aber. Most of his life was spent in southern Cayuga County.

Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Florence Aber of Geneva; one daughter, Miss Nancy Aber of Syracuse; his father, Ralph Aber of Locke; four brothers, Alfred Aber of Chester, Pa., Glenn Aber of Cazenovia, Lynn Aber of Moravia, Phillip Aber of Morrisville; six sisters, Mrs. Earl Downing and Mrs. John Montgomery both of Syracuse, Mrs. Earl Murphy of Painted Post, Mrs. Clyde Wilson of North Carolina, Mrs. Donald Clark of RD, Moravia, and Miss Shirley Aber of Morrisville.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rounds Funeral Home, New Hope. The Rev. Fred Whiting, pastor of Venice Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Sand Hill Cemetery, Dresserville,

Friends may call at the Rounds Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and evening.
