ADAMS, GEORGE A. – Age, 25 years. Enrolled, August 13, 1862, at Homer, to serve three years; mustered in as second lieutenant, Co. H, September 19, 1862; as captain, March 1, 1863; wounded in action, July 1, 1863; died of his wounds, July 25, 1863, at Gettysburg, Pa.
Commissioned second lieutenant, October 4, 1862, with rank from August 31, 1862, original; captain, May 14, 1863, with rank from February 24, 1863, vice C. B. Coventry declined.
