Mrs. Brinson was a retired school teacher, member of Queen St. United Methodist Church, Frank Mock Sunday School Class, Circle #4, Master Gardner, member of the Garden Club and AARP. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon at Queen St. United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Bingham officiating. Interment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband; Royce Cameron Brinson of the home, son; Robert Stephen Brinson and wife Sue of Cedar Point, N.C., daughters; Meg Brinson Crawford of Cedar Point, N.C., and Laura Brinson Geer of Morehead City, N.C., sisters- in- law; Freda Brafford of Broadway, N.C. and Jean Brinson of Newport, N.C., six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. Saturday until service time at Queen St. United Methodist Church.
