Mr. Adkins is immediately survived by his Wife - Marva Jenkins Adkins of Gainesville, FL; Sons - Frederick A. Adkins, Jr., Spencer L. Adkins, Kevin E. Adkins of Gainesville, FL.
Sisters - Jewel D. Adkins of Gainesville, Florida and Alma Elizabeth Adkins, known as "Winnie," and "Liz," of Gainesville (died at Hospice of North Central Florida after an extended illness. She was 59 in 2004). Brother, Clifford Adkins, of Gainesville, and Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & Friends.
There will be No Public Visitation for Mr. Adkins.
Arrangements are under the direction of DUNCAN BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME, Gainesville, FL.
