Minnie L. (maiden name unknown) was born December 19, 1881, in Tennessee. In 1900, Minnie married Joseph Dink Anderson, who was born September 25, 1877 in Texas, son of Samuel Anderson (1829-1900) and Susan Caroline Shearer (1848-1914). In 1900, J.D. Anderson, age 22, a farmer, born September 1877 in Texas; and Minnie Anderson, age 18, born December 1881, in Tennessee, were living in Justice Precinct 3, Texas (Fannin County). The record showed they had been married less than a year.

By 1910, the family was living in Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County). Joseph, age 31, was farming. Living with him was his wife, Minnie, age 28, and their two sons, Perry, age 8; and Vernon, age 5; both born in Texas.

In 1920, the family owned their own farm in Lexington, and they had added another child, Geneve Anderson, age 5, born in Oklahoma. By 1930, Joseph and Minnie were still in Lexington, their two sons had left home, and Geneva, age 15, was still at home.

Minnie died July 9, 1955 and was buried in the Lexington Cemetery. Joseph died July 28, 1957 and was buried beside his wife.
