He was born in Mason, Tex., and had lived in Glendale for 42 years, where he was a building contractor for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Clara: five sons, Ted of Glendale, Edward of Arleta, Kenneth, Guy and Joe Hill; three daughters, Mrs. Mildren [sic] Griffin, Mrs. Betty Toth, Mrs. Sandra Purdy: 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Utter-McKinley Mortuary's Glendale chapel.
Interment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
