CORA M. ABER

Cora M. Aber, a lifelong area resident, died on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Place in Port Jervis, NY. She was 89.

The daughter of the late Milton D. Haring and Cora Edwards Haring, she was born July 15, 1918 in Port Jervis.

Cora was a retired assembler for Kolmar Labs, Inc. in Port Jervis. She was a member of The Southern Church, Eustis, FL, a member of Pocono Chapter #33 and O.E.S. #62, Matamoras, PA.

She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Aber Sr., at home; three sons, Frank “Junie” Hall and wife Sally of Matamoras, Ora B. Hall and wife Alice of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Richard J. Aber, Jr. and wife Sally of Sparrowbush, NY; four daughters, Marion J. Mills of Port Jervis, Linda Arnold and husband Richard of Dingmans Ferry, Valure Churchill and Dixie Lee Marino, both of New Jersey; a brother, Milton D. Haring, Jr. of Matamoras; a sister, Lillian Zaleski of Winter Park, FL; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Millard E. Hall; and two brothers, Harry and Vincent Haring.

Private graveside services will take place at the convenience of the family at Mill Rift Cemetery, Mill Rift, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to Port Jervis-Deerpark Humane Society, Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771 or to a charity of one’s choice.
