She was grown up and living all time in Bad Düben (Saxony). She had at least three siblings: Paul, Anna and a second sister.
In the 1910s she married Franz Freund. They become parents of three boys: Werner, Erich & Rudolf.

In the 1960s both of my great-grandparents sufferd a stroke and needing care. Chiefly Marie, which was bedridden.
She died in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
