Emma Earleen "Deany" Reid-Agee, age 89, died Friday, November 19, 2010, at Harrison, Arkansas.

She was born June 18, 1921, in Hagler, Arkansas the daughter of Jess Albert and Emma Daisy (Simpson) Brewer.

She lived in Clarendon, Arkansas, before her move to Fayetteville in 1955, but was a resident of Harrison for the past four years.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Fayetteville where she served as a Deaconness.

For many years she worked for Doctor James Dean Mashburn and managed the Medark Clinic in Fayetteville.

She was very active in the Arkansas Medical Assistants program and served three years as state president. She assisted with coordinating the state conventions for numerous years and in 1989 she was inducted into the Arkansas State Medical Assistants Hall of Fame.

She enjoyed volunteering at the War Eagle Craft Fair, where she worked for 38 years at the first-aid station. She will be remembered for her love of fishing and travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Henry Galloway Reid, Jr., and Hubert Charles Agee (2002); three brothers, Gilbert Brewer, Orvis Brewer and Ontee Brewer; and two sisters, Opal Brink and Roxie Birdsong.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Reid (and wife, Lynne) of Lake Charles, Louisiana and John Reid (and wife, Joan) of Harrison, Arkansas; a daughter, Jamie K. Strawn of Russellville, Arkansas; three grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m, Friday, November 26, 2010 at Moore's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.

Interment is at Farmington Cemetery.
