CLARK, GEORGE ~ Covington ~ George Clark, an old resident of near this place, died Monday, Dec. 3, at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Bert Ike, of near Sidney. His remains were brought to the home of William Petticrew, one mile east of Covington on the Piqua pike, where the funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. F. G. Behner. Interment was made in Highland cemetery. George Clark was the son of Benjamin and Mary Clark. He was born November 27, 1833 in Miami county, near Covington, O. He was married to Elizabeth Harrison in 1854. Four children were born to this union, two of whom are still living. He also leaves two sisters and one brother, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. His wife died December 30, 1906. Since then he has made his home with his granddaughter, Mrs. Bert Ike, of Sidney, O.
