GRIFFIN -- Bonnie Louise (Brown) Anderson, 87, of Griffin, IN, passed away in her sleep on August 11, 2003.
She was an active member for many years in the D.A.V. Auxiliary 7 as a past commander and treasurer. She loved bingo and served refreshments at the bingo hall on Highway 41. She also worked the concession stand at the coliseum.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Ray Anderson, in 1992.
Bonnie is survived by daughter, Angenita Bippus and husband, Mike; granddaughters, Holly Schneider and husband, Marc, and Cindy Anslinger and husband, Eric; grandsons, John Reis, Matt Bippus, Mike Bippus and wife, Becky, and Chris Bippus and wife, Debbie; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Tyler Bippus, Madeline and Wade Schneider and Miranda and Raelyn Anslinger; 2 nieces, Brenda Clark of Phoenix, Ariz., and Judith Thieman of Colorado; a cousin, Wilma Sansom of Providence, Ky.; neighbors, Barbara J. and Harold Farrar of Griffin, Ind., who cared for her since her husband died.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2003, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor James Mullins. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Providence, Kentucky.
Friends may call 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2003, at Alexander West Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to D.A.V. Auxiliary 7. Condolences may be made online at www.mem.com
