Charlie passed away in his residence after a long battle with cancer.
He was the son of Charles H. Sr. and Betty Jean (Walker) Simpson. He was married June 15, 2007, to Sylvia DeLeon.
He was employed at Chrysler for 30 years. He was a member of UAW Local 685 Kokomo. He graduated from Logansport High School in 1974.
Surviving are his father and step-mother; his wife; 2 daughters and their husbands; 1 son and his wife; his grandmother; 3 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law; 18 grandchildren; 8 nephews; and 4 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
