I collect the French product Cachou Lajaunie, it's containers and it's advertising as well as cachou boxes from other manufacturers all over the world. I always read the same short biography of the inventor of Cachou Lajaunie but I longed to know more of his life.
It was not until I stumbled upon an article by Alain Le Pestipon (a prominent Toulouse historian) published in The Auta, No. 61, March 2005, p. 104-112, that my dreams were finally fulfilled. Alain Le Pestipon cautions readers that his research is incomplete, but it is doubtful that anyone will surpass his work or add substantially to the story of the life of Leon Lajaunie.
